We found the right spot but it's a new owner and they were unfamiliar with letterboxing. :(

Been reported that the starting point for this box is no longer there.

Obviously I did not get the clue. I went to the building where the Harris Clay Co. used to be, but the new shop keeper did not know anything about the box or the clue. She read and said it made no sense. I looked around outside for key, anything, but no luck!!

Haha! Really can't believe I got this one. I'd seen pictures of this one, but for whatever reason thought it was on the coast. So excited to have found it, truly a fun, wonderful letterbox.

My jaw just dropped when I saw this one! Talk about HIPS! What a great find--loved it all. Thanks!

F2000!!! What a fantastic milestone box!! A classic older X Marks the Spot box in a high traffic open area. Literally, a letterbox and totally exposed! Love the idea!! Definitely deserving of a Box of the Week!
