As per the previous letterboxer, I had a good look around and was sure I was in the correct place but no sign of the letterbox. This is a lovely place to visit anyway. Cheers Aslan1

We had a go at this one and found the spot in the photo, but no rock - possibly dislodged with subsiquent earthquakes or ... We found where it was, but no letterbox or rock in sight.

Got the map out and worked out the clue. Then later traveled to CHCH for the weekend for meetings. So had time to do a spot of boxing. This was my 7th box. Got stamps for 5. But unfortunally this box is squashed. During the earthquakes the rock must have moved had to shift the large rock as the box was squashed underneath it. The contents intact. Hopefully I managed to rehide box so it wont get any damage.

Replaced the box with one that was not crushed.
