It was such a beautiful day, that I had to get out and do something. Since I've gotten all the geocaches in the area many weeks and years ago, I decided to attempt a few local letter boxes. Unfortunately, this series is quite old and hasn't been found in over 10 years. I held a little hope, although some optimism I suppose, to find the actual containers. I checked all of the trees including the one indicated, and there were no containers or letter boxes that I could find. There certainly was no spor- suspicious pile of rocks- that I could see. Quite frankly there was very few places for the container to be hiding at this point in time.

Nice old town. Nice rest stop. The little garden is in bloom. The box is in decent shape. Logbook about half full. Very nice handcrafted logbook. Thanks Water Lily.

This was nice little rest stop on a warm August afternoon. There seems to be more geocachers signed in the log than letterboxer's stamps!

On this drizzly afternoon, we had the whole rest stop to ourselves. Thanks for the quick find!

We snagged this box on our way back from Tobermory. It was Thanksgiving, and the car in front of us had a pie in the back window!

This was a much needed and pleasant little stop for us.
