Wow - another new place I have been to today. Thanks so much. The container had a cm of water in the bottom of it and the yellow log was wet. I emptied the container and resealed the plastic bags and ensured the top was on properly. I was surprised as the container was fully in tact when we found it.

It's nice that the gardens are open again since the quake. The wall near the box is a bit damaged, and there is some temporary fencing in place and a pile of rubble -- but the box was there!
