No luck. Found the curve and tree stump before the descent but no luck searching in the woods. What a bummer.

With the help of the previous 2 finders, I finally found this box on my 6th attempt. The tree guarding the box is within sight of the stump's footprint. (It's too much of a good representation of the locals to not help future finders avoid frustration.)

Box was right where you said it should be :) We looked around a handful of trees before finding the right one, but Ocean Memories is alive and well. We didn't think the landscape had changed too much either. The sharp right curve and fallen stump are all intact. From there, heading 25 yards into the woods just to the right of due north took us to just about the right spot! Thanks for planting :)

Found out today that there's a big difference between a smart phone compass and a real compass. Nice hike in from the Bay side entrance.
