Eeek. Tricky find - but the box was literally full of water. All the way to the top - full of blue water. I dumped it out but the logbook is completely soaked, I didn't even try to open it.

Then, while trying to clean it all out, I realized that log is home to a hive of bees! I closed the box up but I couldn't get it back to its spot: it's now under the same log, but under it at the main trunk beside the upright log it's touching above the limb.

This box needs some serious TLC, but the stamp is fine.

This one was one of the trickiest finds. Even when digging it out I wasn't sure I was in the right spot. I believe the fence sign has changed to "rehab area" but leads into the off leash area and it is the center path of 3. Other than that, the box itself is in pretty good shape and the stamp came out beautiful. Thanks!

This was my third attempt at this box and I was finally successful. It was a close thing this time, too... I had to dig out out from under about three inches of sand.

Nice lettering on the stamp and an epic-looking cow!

Went hunting for this one today. I think the environment has changed and so the clue doesn't make as much sense at the end. There are a lot of downed trees, none of them make the clue work...

It was not a clear description and I could not find the box.

Enjoyed the walk and a great reminder of Toronto's history!

Magnificent stamp, lettering is fantastic.

As I was stamping in, a couple came along the path and the woman got THIS close to me, on the other side of the trees and still didn't see me, so I said "Hello" and she screamed and swore. The man with her just said "This is High Park. There are always people in the bushes." Then they went on their way. Then I was quick in case they came back!

A little tricky, but found it eventually!

My first letterbox! Particularly appropriate since I grew up in the Stockyards area. On hot days we couldn't go outside because of the stink of the tannery, no joke.
