I’m pretty sure we were at the right rock outcropping. Sadly, no box.

Dug pretty far in w/ a spade, no luck.

it really needs a new log.

Went looking for 'Halley's Comet' by Wry Me and located it in it's correct place, but in the box for 'Mayfield Park' and with that logbook. No idea where the actual 'Mayfield Park' stamp has gone, or where the 'Halley's Comet' box and logbook went!

Great directions and our girls had so much fun finding it! Our first letterbox and we had a blast!

Found it today. Directions were perfect. It could use a new stamp book - no blank pages left.

What a gorgeous stamp. So fun to sit and admire the huge number of stamps in the logbook going back so many years! Thank you. The logbook is full and has come apart. (People have added many loose sheets of paper to stamp in, so not urgent to replace.)

Fun clues! Loved the chase. Thank you.

We found it! Everything was in good shape. Great clues!

Weird situation! This box is no longer in its original place - instead it is hidden along with Halley's Comet. The box was also completely full of water and the outer bag was not sealed! :( The inner bags with the stamp and log book were sealed so no serious damage. I dried everything off but the paper explaining about letterboxes was beyond repair.

I went ahead and left the box next to Halley's Comet as I didn't want to try to find the original place only to plant it in yet another wrong spot!
