I have been here many times to see the occasional penguin. Just started letterboxing after geocaching for a while and saw one here. No finds for a few years but spotted easily enough. What a lovely stamp. Many thanks from a penguin liver.

We were at the reserve from 6-8:30 but never did see any penguins. Love the carve and wished we would have seen some penguins to add to the experience! There were LOTS of people around to see the penguins. We had better luck seeing yellow-eyed penguins at the Moeraki Lighthouse. Good luck!
