I used to live in Marshall and we spent a lot of time at the fountain. Sadly we did not find your letterbox and we're pretty sure we were in the right place. In fact the place we thought it would be was the perfect spot for a box.

Finally found this one! The logbook was so wet it was disintegrating. Please next person bring a new logbook. Love the historical town of Marshall!
