After not finding the box, I turned to walk back to the trail and just happened to spot something about 6 feet away. The box was partly buried, smashed open, no logbook. Removed.

What an adventure! I had a seizure and had to recover on the baseball field. I almost gave up looking for this letterbox, but looked all around and found it. It had been moved from its planted location. I also tried to dry the box out and put it back in its original planted location.

Box was not where it should have been, however, me and Jackie found it and placed it where you stated in your clues. Box was damp inside. Dried it out the best we could. Thanks for the plant...Amy (lonelyone!)

Container had bite holes in it, and hence was full of water. Log book, in original baggie plus a baggie that was added by a finder in response to the bite marks, was very very slightly damp. Spend a half hour here trying to dry it out, but it remains very slightly moist. Replaced container and dried out other contents. Box ready for finders!

First time letterboxing! Found box away from the original location a bit and a little waterlogged (both probably due to recent flooding in area). Replaced ziploc and put box back in its home....
