Our unsuccessful Little John attempt might have been due to approaching dusk, lots of growth and a bit of a fear factor over things that go bump in the night. We thought we were at the right spot, though.
We really thought we were at the right spot for Maid Marion - wondering if the very heavy rains exposed it somehow? Maybe we were just at the wrong split tree. Will make another attempt soon.
