Description

We are putting together an LTC retreat scheduled to be July 29 through August 1, 2016 at South Fork FarmĀ  https://southforkfarm.com in Minnesota. The cost, per person, is $180 whether you stay in the house or off-site. If you are traveling with a non LTC maker or with a male, they will need to sleep off sight.

Day trips, to the retreat, are available for a rate of $60 per day.

Our goal for the weekend is to share techniques, experiment with supplies, gain inspiration, and have fun. We have letters being set to companies like Ranger, Copics, Strathmore, Speedall, Tattered Angels, (etc.) telling them about LTC makers and asking for donations for our retreat.

You must submit the registration fee, to Linsey(Linden Leaf) to confirm your spot in the retreat. It will not be refunded if you cannot attend, but you may find another LTC-maker to take your spot, and be reimbursed BY THEM.

The committee also has a Facebook page. Once we have a verbal commitment from you we will add you to the page.

Aug 10, 2016: LTC Retreat
Hey crazy ladies! You knew it was coming...if you don't volunteer I start picking. Reviews - it doesn't have to be some crazy long review. Just a nice blurp on how it worked and why you like it.

Lundberg Reneag Renea you used the LTC sized envelopes and really liked them. Can you please say something about them? Maybe how you are using them? You also made some kick butt cards with the rubbings. That would make a great photo(it's been posted already) and a short review would be excellent!!

Rebecca Jean you used the dimensional glaze on your bottle cards. It turned out perfect! Can you snap a photo and talk about how easy or hard it was being that it was your first time using it? It could encourage others to try it too.

Susan Artkras you got the Mod Podge roller. Your photos are great. Can you write up a little review. I noticed that one was all plastic. Maybe it cleans up easy or rolls nice and smooth?

Watercolors!! - Many of you watched Andrea Yantomasi Palma paint with them. What did you learn? Debbie Edwardss I thought you mentioned something to me that you learned new techniques. Andrea Yantomasi Palma how did you like the water colors?

We were given all those LTC sized cards. Who used them? I know some were Bristol paper. I know that some of us use Bristol. So even if you didn't use the samples, you could write a review about the Bristol paper and Laura Lynn can post a photo of our donation next to it. Easy Peasy.
How about the crackle glaze? Three bottles were donated. Who has them? Who played with them?

Cratchet Smith you doing the Acrylic Soft Gel Paints review?

Chanda Woods Cowdrey you were taking videos of many of the demos!! Are you able to post any? Maybe not the one of me because I remember saying something horribly insulting. :(

Bev Opferman Burak, Patty Jo Woods, Susan Zerwas, Nadezda Hurtado Porras all did super fun and helpful demonstrations. Could any videos or photos be posted of them? We could use the photos if any of the presenters would be willing to send their handout information to Laura Lynn and possibly any other helpful information.
