I don’t know if this is “acceptable” in the world of Letterboxing….but I replaced a missing letterbox with one of my own. My Brownie Girl Scouts were working on their Letterboxing badge. We leaders previewed the area a few days before, as we were learning about Letterboxing ourselves before teaching the girls. This spot was a good one, however the letterbox was missing. So we created a new one and placed it there for the girls to find a few days later. Bottom line: they really enjoyed following your instructions to the site, and their very first Letterboxing experience was a good one.
