Be careful on the hill. It’s made of cinder cone ash, like gravel, and it’s slick coming down. I slid down on my butt and got pebbles everywhere even inside my underwear. Lol

THIS is why we love to letterbox! Spectacular, wind-sculpted vistas. Nice little hike -- not to hard and not too easy -- but a very hot day for it. Lovely carve. Thanks so much forgiving us a reason to discover Red Mountain. AND First Finders!!
