Box was totally exposed so it was planted to another tree next to it along the side of fence. Very cute carve!!

Cute Carve! Log pages completely full, had to relocate the box to another tree to the left of the pic. It was completely in the open- no cover at all, now it's under bark slabs at a pine

Easy to find the tree, easy to align photo to ground truth. Looked under every tree in that end of the rest area including along the fence. Methinks it's a goner.

Clues very similar to another letterbox at this rest stop... did not find this box.. if it was at base of tree, the cleanup service probably threw it away...
