Both boxes are still in place. Creative clues! The first faded red blaze seems to have been on a now fallen tree, but we were able to find the three-sister stump on the right (21 steps after the first blaze we encountered) and used it to locate the first box.

Sad to report box full of water and a soggy scrap of paper wrapped around the stamp with one boxers stamp. Dried everything out as best we could and put a temp log book in which has ~ 10 pages or so. Thanks for planting on such a great mountain. The views are tremendous and the beeze delicious on a day like today.

We went hunting with our youth group for this one. None of the people had ever gone letterboxing. It took some convincing but once they found the first one they couldn't wait to find the second one and several of them are planning when they can do it again.
