Very nice stamp, but the logging book is in rough shape.

FYI Box is heavily damaged and log book wet... fun and adventurous box, especially after visiting the battlefield. Thank you.

The cross is now just a stake. Weather has turned the letterbox container completely brittle. When I touched it to pick it up just the very light pressure from my thumb punched a hole in the lid. The sides of the container have multiple holes as well. Bags have kept the contents dry but a new container is desperately needed.

Very interesting hiding spot.

We brought the whole family including my dad and my niece. We had the perfect day to visit the spot and enjoyed it immensely. Thanks so much!

We had never seen a lead plate name marker before. It was interesting to do a rubbing on it and find out the persons name and age

Cool stamp, box is in very bad shape, logbook is totally waterlogged.

Beautiful view... got me to climb the monument and I've been wanting to do that for years! Thanks Mookie! (great stamp too!)

Great way to celebrate Independence Day Weekend. In need of repair.

Your letterbox poem was the reason we visited the monument. Thank you for all the info, we had a great memorial day visiting cemetaries too.
