Today we tried to park near the Sand Hill area, but the road east of Rocky Road (Twp Hwy 242) was closed just beyond the Maintenance Center and parking lot. It was a great day to hike, but we will have to return later. I didn't have another map to see if there was another way from 242 West into the park.

I can't believe this box has been here for 12 years! Still in decent condition on a pretty part of the trail. Pup and I drove up as we had camped out the night before in the park (HIGHLY recommend, little quaint spot) and had been hiking all morning. This is a great park to explore!

All is alive, dry and well! Was getting worried that we wouldn't find it, but after digging under a bunch of leaves, we had success!!!

Beautiful area. This stamp hasn't been found for a while, but it's still there!

Gorgeous Stamp! I was glad I had my markers along for this one. I colored it just how you had it in the log and it turned out great. I also wanted to thank you for listing a shorter way to get there. Mr. Viking and I love to hike, but unfortunately the junior vikings were worn out from hiking at Tar Hollow earlier in the day. So I appreciate that we were still able to get the box without the long hike.
