No sign of the fallen log referenced in the clues. Looks like they might have done a controlled burn of the area recently judging by some of the blackened underbrush. I'm afraid this box is no more :(

Everything in great condition though we had to be extra stealthy because a tree lady and her intern were tagging and inspecting all the trees in the area! Watch out for her! She was nearly silent :)

The fallen log is not EXACTLY at the base of the oak, but within a 10 ft. radius of it. Not sure if it might have been moved from it's original location. This Letterbox rocks. Found a hitchhiker!

All is well. Box had slipped out a bit, but I secured it with the ever-handy SPOB.

Great stamp and tour of north campus with our son who is staying at the University this summer. Box in good condition - was totally exposed but we tucked it back in.

finally! it's an honor to have found this historic box. got a little turned around at the end, there.

Still in great shape. The campus was deserted and beautiful!

Spent most of our days stuck in the architecture building for the last three years. Who knew that North Campus had all that to offer! Thanks!

Finally, I got to go find this one! What a great tour of North Campus. I used to live in Bursley Hall - many, many years ago - and I had never seen much of this. It was a great day for walking around campus too. Thanks for a great plant!

I copied directions for this box 5 years ago today!! Construction, etc, prvented me from looking for it. I'm so happy that it is well protected and still intact. Thanks for the lovely tour of North Campus. Enjoyed the sculptures immensely!
