If you are at this box and some maintenance needs done, please go ahead and do it rather than emailing the planter once you get home. That includes relocating and/or removing the box if there is imminent danger to its survival. Please only do this as a last resort as there is likely a reason the box was hidden "here" instead of somewhere else. If you must move it, it is preferable that you hide it nearby rather than remove it completely since the clues can always be modified much easier than the box can be replaced but do what you feel is best.
==========
This box was adopted in February '07. The actual planter is VictoriAnna and the original clues remain. Also, this is a much harder box to find than you would think but it really is there, in spite of the many logged attempts (including some of my own before I finally found it). Follow the clues EXACTLY and you will find it, but it is not an obvious hiding spot.

...a strawberry basket! This one is so easy, it nearly qualifies as a drive-by.
There's a nifty little sports park at 1950 Sharon Road off 141. When you enter the park, go to the stop sign and turn left toward Fields 5-10. At the maintenance buildings just past field 10, there is a parking lot. Park there and notice the paved path heading up the hill. At present there is a little green sign there that says, "No Skateboards or Scooters on Trail." [sign no longer there as of April 2019]
Follow this path past the (sometimes) horses and along the fence until you are below the ball field and no one can see you from the outfield. There are a couple of drain pipes and a pile of rocks on the right near the start of a chain link fence on the left. At the edge of the woods, a tall pine tree marks the way.
Start a couple of steps to the right of the big pine. There is a natural opening (sometimes) in the undergrowth. About 11 steps nearly due east, near another large pine, is a below-ground rotted-out stump covered by pine straw and other debris. There's a basket of berries hidden there for you! [Note: About one step before the second pine is a small patch or briers. Look to the right of these.]
