Information:

Originally placed by jeff and clues adopted in Feb '07 by lionsmane for safekeeping.

On July 30, 2007 I moved the box to a more concealed location in the same general area. The stamp has also been changed. The stamp is hand carved by Astro D. I decided to also include the original stamp in the new box. The box is now called The Netherwood Box Revisited. I hope you all enjoy.

Clues:

Welcome to the Netherwood Box, placed in one of Albuquerque's most charming neighborhoods in the heart of the university district. From the I-40 get off at the Carlisle exit heading South (1 exit east of the I-25). Drive a few blocks until you see a large red arrow on your right. This is Indian School. Head west (right turn) on Indian School about half a mile until you reach Princeton. Turn right on Princeton. You will be driving along the bottom of Netherwood Park. (You may wish to circle the park to enjoy the view up top). Continue along Princeton until it ends at Cutler. Park. You will see a gate with several very large pieces of ivy. To the right you will see an orange leaf-bench to rest on. To the left you will see a cement driveway ending in a metal bar. Walk up the driveway and past this bar. This will bring you to a dirt trail. Walk along the dirt trail with a fenced in ponding area to your right. The trail will end when another one appears in front of you. At this point there should be a large evergreen tree on your left. Turn around and take 10 steps in the direction you just came. Now there should be a smaller evergreen tree on your right. The letterbox is hidden inside the smaller evergreen tree about 3 to 4 feet above the ground.

Hike Length: 0.5 miles
