Arcadia Trails Park, Fort Worth, Texas

Take Hwy 377 to North Tarrant Pkwy. Turn west onto North Tarrant Pkwy. Make a left onto Trace Ridge Pkwy then a left onto Island Park Drive. Turn into Arcadia Trials Park on the right and park near the playground. Walk around playground and start on trail at the “start” marker on the sidewalk. Stay to the right as the trail splits. Cross the bridge and continue past the baseball field on left. Look for the “1/4 mile” marker on the sidewalk. Cross second bridge and make immediate left onto the Arcadia Interpretive Nature Trail. Pass the two signs about Tallgrass Prairie and Diversity of Life. At the next bench, starting at the sidewalk line in the middle of the bench, count 6 lines. On your left is a multi-trunk tree. Go to backside of tree and look for cavity at base. Lookout for other people and thorns.

Please replace and cover with sticks and leaves. You can double back to return or continue on the trail making lefts at every crossing to return to parking lot.
