if you don't have time for the series but want to visit the Hostel:

In Dillsboro...look to a spot near & below the highway overpass, just beside the river,
with a small parking area from which you have an excellent view of the Dam.
Very close to the parking area is a tiny "park" with picnic tables, a stand of bamboo
and some very large rocks that are just begging to be climbed.
between these rocks and bamboo an old stump resides
under stones & inside this stump the hostel hides
