Eye bleach or mind bleach

Yesterday, I went to find a box that was recently replaced. My guy and I had tried to find it a few months ago and I was pretty certain I had the right spot then. It was 3:30 or 4 in the afternoon and overcast. Approaching the area where the letterbox was, my eyes catch site of two people. My mind was thinking, "Oh shoot, there are two people there on the groun... oh my.... turn around!" They were making a box that families would easily take their kids too, a little less family friendly or maybe they were making it more family friendly in about 9 months. They definitely were adding more recreation to the park.
Next I walked several steps back the other way and loudly cleared my throat. After that, I continued over to an area where there was some playground equipment to wait and called Tom to tell him what I witnessed at the park we went to in the spring. I also wanted to see if they would pass me to leave. Sure enough, 3 minutes later, they did pass me. I remained on the phone with Tom the entire time. I was thinking that if my mom was here, she would have called the police. They are lucky that I am not my mom. Once they left, I went to find the box, while wishing for eye bleach or mind bleach.

Yep, after they left. It was just my concentration was shot - it usually is to begin with, but it was worse at that moment. That's where the mind bleach would have come in handy.

Did you get any pictures?

You're not the first to ask that.

Did you write about your experience in the box log book?

I think I said that there were people there earlier... I left it at that.
