Thanks for the nice words, you guys. Friday was a totally fun night, starting off with Sprite falling for the "Do you know if they serve sprite here?" "I think they do...(pause) ohhhhh" kind of moment and leading straight on into the fun. It seemed like the night was over before it ever started. Seriously, there we were chatting away when someone said "It's 9:15. They closed at 9:00." That's a mark of a good time. But...but...but...I never got to talk to Chadams and Lady Lilac or Granny 51 or ___________ (many others).

Now, its my turn to tell anyone reading to haul it up to Buffalo and go meet the fun people!

I'm expecting to see some stamps come out of the night, like yours Kitten without Mittens. Maybe, possibly a trashcan one from Sprite too. :-) The significant otter we found looking for Amanda From Seattle's box on campus. I thought it was just a weasel sized head in that hole there, then realized in one of those cartoon moments of being one place then suddenly in a place 3 feet over out of surprise that the weasel sized head was just part of the snout and there was a big eyeball of probably a big animal looking out at me looking in at it.

Even with time prohibitions Saturday morning, we had to stop to get one more stamp by The Phoenix, laughing the entire time over his Homer series and the fun chatting away on Friday. You rock, Tom!

Also, I think we learned a lesson with the shortage of the Stamp W pins from the 2007 Winter BBQ to order more. You guys will have to be sent some of the 2008 Winter BBQ Stamp Pimp pins, no questions asked.

To reiterate, in case you missed it, Teepsman and I had a great time with the WNYers. Thanks to everyone who came out, shared a story and lots of belly laughs. Sprite, you missed the after party fo' sho'! Esp. when Falling Leaves took over talking non-stop, with all three Quinns' mouths hanging open in muted surprise. Maybe that happened in my head though. That was a terrifically fun night!

We're looking forward to our next trip there! Stamps-schmamps. You guys have stories. Lots of 'em. I wanna hear them all, swinging tassles or no!

PS: Team Dakota, I handed the Panera stamp to Falling Leaves, since I forgot to make sure it hitched a ride home with Sprite.

You guys are the best!
