I tried to ask this yesterday and as soon as I posted it the boards got real quiet...I only got a couple of answers before it fell off the Recent Threads...people are talking today, so I'll ask again

I'm doing research to find out if the following...which should be on the back of a book...would it interest you enough that you would read the book. I need to know if this will work before I send it out tomorrow looking for an agent for this book...

Practically on the eve of her wedding, Princess Tanella is kidnapped and dragged off to the far ends of the earth. Can she escape and return home in time to prevent a war?

Prince Fergan has given his word to marry Tanella of Kwenn, so why did his heart choose now to fall in love with the beautiful Sorenn, the girl he rescued from utter ruin in the disreputable inn?

Shayla, Tanella’s cousin and maid, awaits rescue from the Army holding her prisoner. Will her growing affection for one of her captors prove to be an obstacle, or a means to rescue herself?

And what part does the king’s brother Liammial play in these events, on which rest the fate of the Ten Kingdoms?

It's got a lot of big words and name spellings. What's on the cover would be why I would grab it to see what's on the back.... although it sounds good!

nope...though my other one is out of print. it's an audiobook. A Heart Full of Diamonds, by Anne Marie Jenner. Last time I looked it was floating around at ebay...

but for Diamonds I didn't have an agent...I won a contest and the contract to publish was the prize. I've written much since then, but find I'm not good at selling, hence the search for an agent.

I have stopped reading the back of books, because so often they give away too much info on the story. I want to be surprised. So I generally don't have a clue what the book is about before I read it. I rely on recommendations from friends or authors that I like.

Personally, you had me at that.

I'd read the book on just this information alone
