So, I typically don't buy books like this. But this one intrigued me and I'm glad I did.
It's called "The Dangerous Book for Boys" by Gonn and Hal Igguldon.
It's sort-of a how to manual for all kinds of things, plus a great compendium of things to know that guys (i'm generalizing here, but you get the drift) like to do.
Just some of the things included:
How to make a battery
Codes and Ciphers
Heroic Deeds
Historic Battles
10 Commandments
Best Paper airplane
how to make a pressure plate, trip wire, andtimer
make a bow and arrow
build a tree fort
skin a rabbit
etc...
I understand some of these things are not up everyone's alley, but I enjoyed many of these things when I was young and knowing how to do them correctly now to have fun with my son is excellent.

Of course, some of those things sound like letterboxers would love and use in LB's!
