me too, me too
please enlighten me

  1. use "search letterboxes" to find the tracker, which is named "Don't forget the sunscreen" Searching on "sunscreen" and using the pull-down menu for "trackers" should find it for you.
  2. go to the tracker's page and click on "join"
  3. go to "plant a letterbox" and make a box the same as you would a normal box, but up at the top click the circle that says it is a postal. There is, obviously, no clue. The name of a postal in a ring usually reflects the name of the tracker, for example, "Dr. Seuss: The Grinch", where Dr. Seuss is the name of the ring, and The Grinch is the name of the box.
  4. carve your stamp and make a logbook.
  5. package it up. most of the postals I h ave seen are in 9x6 padded envelopes. use the plastic kind if you can find it. cover it in packing tape if you can't find the plastic kind.
  6. put your return address in the proper corner UNDER a piece of packing tape. Even if you get the plastic kind, put a piece of packing tape over the address area and the postage area. This makes it easier for people to peel those things off during the ring. do NOT use the envelopes own glue to close the package. Tape it shut with more packing tape.
  7. give your address to the ring leader when requested
  8. send your package out on time to the address given you by the ring leader
  9. when you get a package, carefully slit it open, stamp in like you would a regular box, then tape it shut again. peel off as much of the postage and address label as you can. put on the address of the person you send to, and mail it off.

that's all there is to it!

Yeah I'm feeling a little swamped with the postals now too, but it's a really good one! :)
