Stamp carving story

This is only vaguely related to letterboxing (well, part of it is), but I have to share:
Two facts: I can't draw a straight line and if it weren't for clip art, the only stamps I would ever carve would be stuff like squares or circles, and even those would be crooked.
My son is in second grade. He has a very cool teacher. (Oops, three facts ;-))
Back in the winter, for one of my son's projects, I carved a representation of the class mascot, a stuffed dragon named "Firebreath". The children take turns taking Firebreath home, and writing about their "adventures" in Firebreath's Journal. It's quite an honor to take Firebreath home.
So I actually attempted to draw Firebreath, and the drawing wasn't half bad, so I made it into a stamp. The class has used it for several things, and we even joined the Classroom Postal, and he's been our signature stamp.
So as a year end treat, one of the parents decided to donate t-shirts for each child, and she has a connection with some silkscreening place and they wanted to put Firebreath on their shirts. And they took my stamp/drawing to make the Firebreath design for the shirts. THis just totally cracks me up, as any artistic talents I might have just don't extend to drawing of any nature. Even my handwriting is terrible!!
So I'm looking forward to seeing the shirts, I'll post a pic if they turn out decent ;-))
Mama Fox - who possible just used up 2 more minutes of her 15 minutes of fame - or maybe this is all of the 15 minutes!! - better go edit my profile interview ;-))

You, my dear, are too modest. I expect to see a picture of the shirt because it will be wonderful. What a cool classroom memory for the kids.

I'll get Foxy Boy to wear his - he's going to be the only lucky recipient of the shirt - I'm sorta jealous....... ;-)) I thought about asking the mom who's in charge of the silk screening if I could toss in a shirt of my own..... But the shirts really are for the kids, and it's been a while since I was in second grade (a looooooooong while!).
Thanks for the compliments, friends ;-)) But truly - I can't draw! Thank goodness I carve better than I draw and I'm glad we are in the internet age with zillions of free cliparts......
