Hey everyone-


I currently have a wonderful idea brewing that would be TONS of fun..... a Halloween letterboxing party in Fulton, NY. It would be complete with costumes and a murder mystery!!!

The only thing is, I know that lots of people attend their own Halloween parties and the only time the venue has available would be October 27th. I was trying to make it earlier in the month, but no-can-do. It's a five-room bed and breakfast, so there would be on-site lodging available for a few people who wanted to stay over. But, I don't want to go through the trouble of getting this place if people can't come due to their own Halloween party engagements.

So..... if I put together a murder-mystery-letterboxing party on October 27th in Fulton, NY... would anyone honestly be interested and willing to come?

Dandelion and I would be ALL OVER this.....if it weren't for our annual Halloween party that we already go to. Guarantee it would be that same night. However.....were you thinking daytime or nighttime? Our yearly party is in the evening.

And what are you doing planning more boxing events?!? Don't you have OTHER things you should be doing right now?? Ha-ha!

Well, the topic of a murder (ok, so maybe 5 murders) would be the centerpiece of the event, but other than that - it's all kid-friendly.


Oh Craftymouse --- I would just absolutely loooove to have you there. And it would certainly be your cup of tea. But they say they only have the 27th available. I definitely want it to be a Saturday so there's time during the day for exchanges and other box hunting with the murder mystery starting promptly at dark. Sunset for October 27, 2007 is scheduled to be 16:58, so I suppose we could start at 17:30 (5:30pm), 18:00 at the latest. Is your Halloween party late-evening (circa 9-10 pm start time) or early evening? I suppose if nothing else you could come for some exchanges and such....


now what was that other thing I was supposed to be planning?.... something about a white dress and bridesmaids...... oh, well, I guess I'll think of it! ;-)

I may be interested depending on location... where the heck is Fulton?? I'm in Erie county. If it's not too far, would love to attend with my 2 girls. Would need overnight acommodations. Let me know more details please.
