I have been having the most amazing luck with my HH's lately.
I had launched my Johnny Appleseed HH in August '05.
The last I heard from it was Jan. '06. I thought it was lost.
But wouldn't you know it, he turned up!
My oldest one (The Salty Dog) I launched April '05.
It's still traveling. And I recently had the old log book mailed to me. It had gone from FL, to GA, to Moline, IL
My last three I launched here in FL. One is in NC. The other two are on their way to St. Louis and Petaluma, CA!
I can't wait to launch my new ones at Stone Mountain. I get the biggest kick finding out where they turn up.
And I really don't worry about them getting lost. Hey, just like any other letterbox.
Some of my best carves are now HH's
A big thank you to everybody who has moved my HH's along (and updating me too)
And a big thank you to everybody who takes the time to do this
