Would you use a printer that would print directly on your carving material?
I went to the HP website and sent an inquiry about a printer like this. We'll see what they have to say.

I've had... mixed experience with printers that print on non-standard media, such as CDs, transparencies, and other things.
It's left a bad taste in my mouth, not unlike that post-puke taste.
When my Alps printer finally kicks the bucket (or I can no longer find cartridges), I'm reverting back to the pencil tracing transfer method.

I think there's a *flip image* option in photo editing programs. If not it could be added to the software of the printer.
