Some of you decided to look at this post because you though I would have some heartwarming tale of family togetherness to share.

Well, sorta.

About 4ish years ago, my friend and I were rhapsodizing about the curious corrolations between the "peeps" as they are mentioned in hip-hop songs and "Peeps" the Easter Marshmallow candy goodness. This prompted us to drive to the local wally world, go directly to the candy aisle, and proclaim loudly:

"Where my peeps at?"

hehe

So this year I introduced this sick tradition of mine to my son. I'm happy to report he's a chip off the old block.

Having fun at Walmart is the BEST!!! I always enjoyed going with a friend, going to the sporting goods department. both of us putting on life perservers and each grab an oar. We would stand in a line about three feet apart and then proceed to row our imaginary boat around the store! Always a CLASSIC!!!!

oh btw
I like the kid who spent 24 hours in a walmart for fun. http://thesequitur.com/content/view/165/34/
It is very possible there could be other better stories of that then this one though.

Try the 99 Cent Store with $5 for your anniversary/birthday/long weekend shopping...what fun there is....who'd a thunk a feather duster for a buck could be so inventive! ; )

Although my fav has got to be a polaroid party we were on once when we had to take pictures in different group positions in front of certain products in the Target - 4 teams of 6 adults - a pyramid was involved - man is the Target flooring hard! hehe! We needed 8 pics to win ...I will let you all imagine the rest of them! But it really does show that you don't need much to have a good time - just a few people , a polaroid camera and a store with crap in it !

Happy hunting, enjoy the journey,

Oh, that is too funny!

When I was in 7th grade, my best friend and I would get bored and go to the local grocery store and walk up and down the aisles arguing as if we were sisters, usually about "you broke Mom's favorite vase!"

The thing was, she has olive skin and, at that time, dark black hair, whereas at that time, my skin was very pale and my hair was turning from brown to blond. We lived in a small town and there weren't too many blended families back then, so we thought we were hilarious.

BTW, she & I have been rubber stampers from way back. I finally, FINALLY got her into letterboxing last October! Her trail name is Yiker -- and now her 15 year old daughter has joined us, as K4. LBing is just too good, no one can hold out!

Yay!
