We really should be more talkative on this board, this is the country where letterboxing was born and proud of it :-)

So in an effort to increase the chat I would just like to point out, to those who haven't found it already, that it is easy to mark this board as a 'favourite'. Once marked, everytime someone posts a message you haven't already read 'Letterboxing United Kingdom' will appear under the 'From Favourite Boards' title on 'My Page'.

To mark it as a favourite click on boards>categories>world letterboxing. This will give you a list of all the countries with a red heart against the name. Scroll down to United Kingdom and click on the red heart. This will make a tick appear on the red heart and that indicates that you have marked the board as a favourite.

Alternatively you can just click on this link and put a tick beside United Kingdom, under World Letterboxing:-

Oh brilliant Shiloh, we know our American cousins will always help out with the chatting :-)

UKUSA and I are now in the middle of trying to get a bit of chat going on the UK board. Have you seen the number of messages posted on the North Carolina board? - 2825! That is over a 1000 more than any other board, and makes our 162 look paltry.

So come on UK board, I am going to turn into an American cheer leader here, let's see some more posting.

I got a notice the other day where the *Crater of Diamonds* had been found again.

BTW...some twin boys, preteen I think, found a diamond about 2.5 carats a week or so ago.

Believe it or not I have had the board on Favourites list for months. It’s just that I tend to browse only by day at odd intervals at work as we are restricted with where we can post (though I do sneak the odd one through). At home I have to contend with the rest of the family to get net access. In particular my son thinks he has an undisputed right to the PC at all times.

I am planning some boxes to go out in west Wiltshire sometime this year. The problem is producing stamps I’m happy with.
