Well in effort to broaden my horizons I am thinking of auditioning for Birmingham's Summerfest production of the musical DAM* YANKEES on Saturday.

I just found out about the auditions last night. My problem is that the sheet music for the musical is hard to find. Does anyone have a copy?

I am especially looking for "Six Months Out of Every Year"

(So sorry to disappoint anyone who thought I might try the "Lola Wants" song...)

PS- for anyone in Birmingham who's interested, they are auditioning for Wizard of Oz as well, but both witches have already been cast.

Also, they are auditioning kids for the kids summer workshop on Sunday- it's a great experience-- I did it when I was 14 and they go as young as grade school.
