I loved making my own stamp pad! I'm very particular about the coloring of my signature stamp, and the two colors I was using were part of two different Petal Point Color Boxes. I ordered a sheet of the Cut N Dry material and cut it to fit inside a little plastic container, like the kind they sell in the beading aisle of a craft store. It's a little round one, about an inch and a half in diameter. The perfect size and shape for my sig stamp. I ordered re-inker bottles in the colors I wanted and inked up the Cut N Dry material. I inked it up REALLY good, so it lasted pretty much the entire summer. And the bottles go a really long way. I just re-inked the stamp pad for a third time in almost 3 years and have a ton of ink left. Having an ink pad that's right there, pre-inked in the right places, and light as a feather is a HUGE time saver out on the trails and at gatherings! I've also seen folks cut a piece of the Cut N Dry to fit inside an altoid tin and they are able to carry more than one stamp in it. Very handy stuff! Can't recommend it enough!
