(((serious brag alert))))

I placed a letterbox this weekend but the biggest prize came from WINNING what was slated as the biggest fastpitch softball tournament in GA. The King of the Mountain tournament...took place the weekend of March 24th, 2007. There were 40 teams in the 14u age group alone! 19 of those teams were classed as "A" teams that are best of the best in GA and surrounding areas! MoJo along with the team she plays with now, the Georgia Scorchers, won the entire shuh-bang!!! We played from 7 pm friday night until almost midnight Sunday night and took home "the PRIZE"!!!!!

MoJo had pitched 2 complete "shut-outs" not allowing any scores, saved 2 games and had one no hitter! Her batting average probably suffered a bit but who cares with pitching performances that had folks seeking us out to talk about her efforts! and to think it all started out back with me showing her to take aim with her ball on a rock in the side of the "can house"

*proud momma smile*
WooHoo!!!!

here is a altered photo of her pitching along with clues!

for those who don't know what a can house is...

Hmmmm... Should we make plans to see her in a future Olympics?
Representing not just GA but all of the USA!

Just a thought.

Dixie and Mojo should have some plants, or PT's that are only available during softball games - that would be fun!!

We called t-ball "Herd Ball" when my son played it cause the kids all run for the ball at the same time in a little "herd" no matter where they are supposed to be playing. Same son has his first practice for "the majors" this week. It's going to be a long and interesting season.

My daughter used to play "ant hill" hockey. You always knew where the puck was!

In soccer it's reffered to as, "Mob Ball". And like, 'ant hill hockey', you always know where the soccer ball is. LOL
