I just want you to know that everything is still a "go" for the gathering in Waxhaw on March 31st.
Some notes:
1. The Shelter (Shelter 4) has been reserved all day for the event.

2. It is a covered dish event, and the paper products have already been purchased and will be available at the event! (thank you Sweet & Sour and Shoafsters). Please bring a covered dish to share and your own drinks/cups/bottles. (please note no alcoholic beverages are permitted).
3. The Wolf family and others have already been hard at work seeding the park. I have had graciously donated boxes from Red Cat and from Dale End Farm for permanently placed boxes. (TWF has also graciously offered to plant these.. (they're on the way wolf mama))....
Also, we have one temporarily placed event box from Speedsquare! All three of these individuals are so talented, and knowing there will be boxes there from them should make any of you who arent coming CRINGE! LOL muahahahah!
4. Anyone who will be staying on the campground side Friday night and would like to get together, I am told by the park officers that we do NOT need to reserve one of the two shelters on the camping side. they are first come first serve!! If you're staying in a cabin, or on one of the camp sites, please pipe up over on the Letterboxing North Carolina forum to let us know.
5. This will definitely be a KISS (Keeping it Simple, Silly! NOT a hard metal music from guys in make up) kind of gathering. no pink flamingos, no detectives, no shiney objects....

and lastly,

6. You may not see me at all on Saturday. I have some things going on, and may or maynot make it to my own gathering LOL... BUT... you will see evidence of me all day long!!!!

Please come and enjoy the gathering!! The company alone is worth it, and then there's the gorgeous boxes that are in store for you.

Hugs,
Cam /3Ms

What?! No shiny objects?! No flamingos?! Are you specifically banning us from bringing these? What about rubber chickens and rubber poop (at least the GA boxers let me bring these things to THEIR gathering... hmmmm... well, I didn't exactly ASK but since it wasn't specified that I couldn't...)?!

You're right!! I don't have any flamingoes, but now I really want at least one or any other obnoxious lawn ornament I can possibly find.
