Let me count the ways!
There are a million and one reasons, but yesterday I loved letterboxing because I discovered a waterfall I never even knew about right here in my own neck of the woods!! And I discovered a great new fishing hole: ) The funny thing is the planter of this box is a recent transplant to my area. Isn't it great to have someone new show me my area with a different perspective!

The same thing happened to me. Due to letterboxing, I discovered some new hiking trails that I did not know about, even though I have been hiking around the region for years!
