As I sat pondering the universe this morning over coffee, the recent "Cootie Dilemna" passed through my ponderings. It seems that, for some, at least, the issue with cooties is that they will have to hold onto them for many months before having another opportunity to be passed on. So, I thought, what if we crossed a Cootie with a Hitchhiker, and called it a... Hootchie! A Hootchie could be passed either by direct contact from boxer to boxer OR dropped off in a letterbox to be found later by another boxer. That boxer could then either replant it in a box, or pass it cootie-style... and so on.

Get one at an event and don't want to stop and deal with it? Fine... you've found a hitchhiker to enjoy later!
Find one in a box 2 weeks before attending a gathering? Fine... you've got a cootie to bring along!

And so was born the Hootchie...

I'd like to point out, Mr. Tortuga... that "Flea" is not in the AQ glossary. If it ain't in the glossary, how are we supposed to believe it's a real (already invented) thing? hmmmmm?

I had this idea too, but I wanted to call them CootieHikers....I think I like Hootchie better ;O)

I did add to the clue page of the last cooties we did, if anyone wanted to release them as HH that I would switch them over. Catherine
