What does BD stand for?
I googled and there are several meanings of all different kinds and situations.

Somewhere I have a great pic I took of Ryan with this kookie hat on. I intended to post a link to it but sadly I couldn't find it. ☹️
But regardless, happy milestone, turtlehead. I hope you had a great birthday!

I’ve watched plenty of full movies on YouTube that have “skip ad” after a few seconds and then no more ads.
That's not been my experience on major browsers. What browser are you watching YouTube on, that will determine the ad rate? The link I provided is to YouTube just on the DDG browser where there are no ads.

Ahhhh. Soooooo there must have been some changes in the location since GG found it in such a mess. I would think. So I didn’t think BD stood for anything good. Now I see.

I have Safari but it’s not the browser.
Some people have channels on YouTube and just upload content with no ads. They aren’t doing it to make money. They are sharing content they find interesting.
If something gets watched a lot YouTube will put in ads and the person who owns the channel has no control. But if it’s not getting a lot of watches YouTube will very often leave it alone.
It may be that a lot of the stuff I watch is pretty obscure…old British classic movies ….old and obscure tv stuff, plays, stuff like that….stuff that probably has a limited audience. If not a lot of people are watching it YouTube won’t put an ad in it. Therefore I do watch a lot with no ads.
But this guy has a huge audience and I've watched a lot of his videos with just ads in the beginning. Or none in the beginning. He makes a lot of money. I don't know how that works. I've watched his whole long videos with no ads. So.

(Little Free Library), not taking into consideration these are not common in a lot of cities/states, or that visitors from other states may not have heard of them or seen one until they hit the New England area
Little Free Libraries abound in Ohio and Northern Kentucky at least. I see them frequently, so not a New England thing
As far as abbreviations, I love when people use them (appropriately) in clues. I like to figure it out and have that "Aha!" moment. But then, I do like clues better than directions.

If you're on Facebook, there's a group you can join and post the picture.
I thought posting pictures of stamp images (unless you carved it) is considered bad form?

Thanks. The lighthouse where it is located is really the star of the show. Michigan is full of gorgeous lighthouses. If someone is looking for a good road trip, driving up along either the west or the east side of Michigan allows for loads of lighthouse visits along beautiful waters. My husband and I have done this a couple of different times over the years and enjoyed it both times.

They're trying to identify a stamp. I thought, maybe, we could extend a little grace.

First step would be to share the location (I was at such and such park for example) as zdz suggested and then people can reach out privately if it sounds like a box they have found.
As a person who has some restricted and mystery boxes, I would not be happy if someone posted one of my carves without my permission.

I actually have a letterbox planted at my Little Free Library, and another boxer (next county over) has one planted at her LFL also.

There are so many options to potentially identify the box without posting the image. I think showing respect to the planter is important as well.
As far as I know, not much information has been given to help anyone narrow it down. I could be wrong on that.
Not trying to start a fight--just my opinion

I agree with J. There are too many legit reasons that the OP couldn't identify the box - going straight to posting the image seems a little drastic.

I seem to recall a glossary somewhere with some handy definitions, but can not seem to find it now. Things like:
TSW: (go) Through Stone Wall
BFT: Big Fun Tree!
LFT: Turn Right!
SPOR: Serious Prickers or Rash
SPOS: Some Potentially Ordinary Stuff
And so on.

Wow LOL thanks zdz for the LB refresher course. I “truly do appreciate it”, as I haven’t been out boxing for a short time, but realizing now how much has slipped my mind, by not actively getting out there to use it . I have just now taken a look over the glossary & found some a-ha words & abbreviations I had totally forgotten about, or haven’t seen in awhile. It’s nice to have a great letterboxing community to help out !

Not just in the LBing community do we see abbreviations but it seems to be happening more and more in life; esp. on-line. I think it sometimes takes me longer to figure what they mean than it would take the writer to spell it out. The world it is a 'changin!!!! IMHO LFO LOL ROFL....
