Good news and weird news.

The ink dosn't run nearly as much as crayola.

Here's the thing.

When I tested these markers, I did it with a new stamp, one I had neve inked up before. When I just inked up for the water test, I used my sig stamp, whih has been inked up a LOT of times with bright green ink.

The Sharpie flip chart markers seem to act like an emulsifier. It wets the old ink and the old ink will apply to the paper as well. If I use black that's no big deal. But the brown is a sort of hershey's milk chocolate color, and with the green ink from before, it sort of came out looking like baby poop.

Let me say that I carry marvys on the trail and while you do get some bleeding it's nothing like this. If you do decide to use these you'll probably have to make sure you clean the stamp super well.

hmm. This will take some more research.

If you planned it out though, you could get some really interesting and exciting combinations, like:

Gurple
- apply gold water based ink to the stamp and let it dry. Then apply your nefariously won purple and stamp. Voila! Gurple. Brilliant.

Thats a great idea. I may try that, sort of like the textured inks.

I am absolutely brand new to all of this but won't a sharpie color the stamp? I understand that they will be stained but when I hear Sharpie, I think of black ink pen that will never come off.
