I read this thread for a couple of days and no one that I saw even mentioned the absolute worst song ever. If I missed it and someone actually did, then my apology for missing it and if I had seen it I would have been quick to agree, but isn't "Afternoon Delight" by The Starland Vocal Band actually the worst song ever? Huh?

OK, then how about "The Bird Is The Word"?

I love Afternoon Delight by Starland Vocal Band as well.... always puts me in a good mood b/c I end up laughing and giggling. My guilty pleasure.... Morris Day and the Time. I actually stood up in my cubicle yesterday and danced when Jungle Love came on my radio. I think the Nutty Bar I had at lunch gave me a sugar buzz.

is it just my imagination or is part or all of the llama song(which I had never heard before... and since have had it stuck in my head for about three days now, thank you very much) somewhere along the same tune as "Billy Joe McGruffy was a really clumsy kid"

I think there are sooooo many *bad* songs and each is horrible in its own way but to name one: ' dead puppies' but any of Dr. Demento's songs for that matter I would say were all pretty horrible

Dredging up an old post from the past ... :) Yesterday allemeyn and I posted a series of letterboxes based on this song! Yay for the Llama Song!

Now ... you have to visualize ... Amy and I hiking through the woods, with boxes in backpacks ... singing various snippets of this tune depending on which box we were hiding at that moment ... walking back to measure paces ... QUACKing up ... singing again ... doing a little be-bop ... searching high and low for rocks with which to make SPOR ... singing some more.

Seriously, if anyone else had been on that trail, at that moment, they'd have been convinced that we found a patch of funky mushrooms.

Okay there was ONE mushroom ... but we planted it.
