Snowboxers are truly amazing people. Y'all are POSSESSED...but I hope you got your fix this weekend! *grin*

I am so tired that I can't even begin to thank everyone, so I will post a longer response later. To all of the 105 brave folks that didn't let a little deep snow keep them away....THANK YOU. This had to be one of the most enjoyable events I have ever attended, as people were so laid back and upbeat and helpful and FUN LOVING.

I met great folks, the kids and Darwin were great....people seemed happy with their raffle prizes and I can't even BEGIN to tell you about the incredible food at this event! Whoa..... I was amazed to watch the kids find those little Demented Valentines...I am beginning to believe that "Letterboxing Vision" is hereditary.

I loved meeting everyone at the event....and who made it over to Oneida Artisans/Brickhouse Cafe..and who shared a few brews with me at Back on Track Again...or at breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express So thank you again for coming..the clues are all posted so you can log in your finds more easily...and thanks to all of those who carved stamps. Like I mentioned, more detailed info to come, once I sleep about 20 hours. :)

me either....cootie's from now on will be claimed only by the Cain of CathCainGwen, even Gwen moved on to bigger things - BOXES - and left them to her brother....poor LBers of DSS, Cain was on a mission and I thing he accomplised it, and like any great king (cootie king) he had many little followers.....I think they were your boys fellow boxers!

I hope Darwin didn't come home too infested.....Cain especially liked the puppy ;o)

So I thought up an idea!
After this weekend, someone had mentioned the boys being part of the "cootie crew."
So I was thinking of starting a club for the boys and others can join.
Cain, Billy and Elijah had such a wonderful time with the cooties,
it seemd like such a fit.

So with Cain being a big part of this,
I would like to offer him an official "Cootie Crew NY" tee-shirt.
I plan on making 2 "Cootie Crew NH" shirts for Billy and Elijah.
The founding fathers of the "Cootie Crew."

Not to leave anyone else out, this is still at the beginning stages of a bigger "Cootie Crew Club."
I can make a shirt for everyone that wants one for thier little Cootie Crew, i just can hand them out to everyone. I will find out how much it will cost for anyone interested.

A new era in Letterboxing! The Cootie Crew Club!

Thanks Lock Wench (and mother nature) for providing a memorable weekend! It was great to reconnect with so many letterboxers and fun to meet new ones. A lot of time, thought and work went into the event and you made it look so easy. You certainly have the recipe for the perfect gathering. From the bottom of my toe warmers.....thank you!!

I was thinking that so everyone feels equal, they would say "Cootie Crew of (State)" on the back,
and thier trail name on the front.
Gwen can get a shirt too!

We all know he was the cootie king, and he had his royal followers.
to think, when we got there i told them to aviod cooties at all cost.
so much for that idea.

what size for them! i will be heading out today or tommorow to get things started.

Toddler PHoenix would be interested! He's a beginning cootier but loved running up to the tables to "drop and run."

Can he be a Junior member of the "Cootie Crew?"

Cain was in the process of cooting CQ and CQ said I'm not supposed to know, So Cain replied oh so you know about the one on your shirt and CQ acknowledged that he did, so Cain said ok and then came over and whispered in myear "But he doesn't know about the one in his shoe!"

HeeHee...did you find it CQ?

The hardest part for Cain was not asking if he had found it yet, he came over to check several times, but I didn't know one way or the other!

aw......you're making me blush!

The cootie kits use orange PZ Cut, Grade B. Available only at www.stampeaz.com. It is a great product and very affordable for the 125 kits I made! I think I got 24 out of each sheet.
The little notebooks were donated by wonderful boxers all over NY..and a few from out of state! The baggies were ziplock mailing pouches from Staples. Each kit cost less than 30 cents!

Send me your address Dave..and I will send you some of the surplus.

I'm afraid to say that no cooties were found in my shoe :( Is Cain POSITIVE it was my boot that he placed that cootie in? Because I assure you there was nothing in it other than my foot. *nods*
