Well even while planting these 3 my miserable week didn't get any better. I had a little boo boo this morning in my running around.

Parked my car (straight drive) in neutral, pulled up parking brake and it didn't hold. When I turned around to look there went my car, rolling across the parking lot and over a sign post. I had to literally RUN to CATCH my car. JUMP in and SLAM on the brake.

I have been nauseated ever since. It's not really even that bad of a scratch, but it just makes me sick. My car is very special to me. Interesting color (Legend Lime, to be exact) that is not very common and it's a brand new 2006 Mustang GT, only with me for 6 months. I could just puke.

oh gosh! Robert would be jealous of your car...and soooooooooooooooooooo sorry about the scratch. It sounds lovely... with or without a scratch. "The 'stang" is his favorite car.

The scratch is not so bad that it can't be touched up.

I am just so embarrassed and upset with myself for doing something so stupid.

Don't feel too bad - look at the bright side and think about the 3 boxes you planted today!!!

My hubby got a new truck (as in brand new right off the lot) a "few" years ago. One day I had to drive it to work - at the time I worked downtown. I was attempting to parallel park on this very touristy street that had these ornamental (and very firmly planted!) benches. I backed into one, and left a lovely quarter sized DEEP dent in his truck right below the tail light - ugh!! I went right to my office, called the dealer and made an appointment with their body shop. When I got home, I told hubby what I had done, and that it was going to be fixed!! He refused to let me have it fixed (waste of money) and to be fair, probably didn't bring up the dent more than 3 or 4 times while he owned the truck ;-)) To which I always said "I was going to have it fixed!!!" However, I rarely walked past the back of the truck without cringing ;-))

But, I can say, as of two weeks ago, that truck is out of our life - hubby drove it 12 years, it finally died in Decmeber, and he put an ad in the paper to sell it. I bet we had 15 calls on that dead truck!!! (I've never sold a car that worked so fast!!) The first guy who called came and got it, paid cash, put it on a trailer and hauled it off, and was happy as a lark. And he never complained once about the dent - lol!!

The real bright side is that when I first told my hubby, he was a little upset, but now (this is the bright side part) he's cracking jokes on me left and right.

We went to a Chinese New Year celebration tonight. Since January pretty much SUCKED for us, my husband said that he was going to go with the Chinese New Year as a new beginning and leave the "old" year (which now includes everything prior to today) behind! You are welcome to join us. :)

We put scratchs, sings, bumps, bullet holes and shrapnel scars in our "trucks" all the time...as long as the windows aren't too bad and the run-on flats work...we always make it back to the "body shop"...so far so good...
