I'm so bummed! Less than 10 minutes after heading out on my way to the S.I.L.O. gathering, I ended up in the ditch. Well over an hour (and the Dr. Pepper I not so smartly drank) later... the concensus is that I will be missing the gathering.
For those of you who braved all and went anyway, I'm sorry about the boxes I was supposed to bring. I can mail images to anyone that wants them though. Just count yourself lucky that I didn't get to bring all of those Chinese cooties that I stayed up half the night making!
One thing that I didn't expect while waiting for hubby with the truck...It is far more terrifying to be sitting there helpless while other cars are slipping and slidding around you than it is to be heading for the ditch in the first place.
I hope that all of you are Safe today!!
Stacy-who is going to do a little pouting and a lot of carving today!!!

Oh my goodness. That really really bites. I hope the carving will cheer you up. I'm glad you're okay though!

On a further note...Hubby went out later and one of my tires was flat. I'm glad I didn't end up changing that in the mush on the side of the Interstate!!
I hope my guardian angel gets to put his feet up in front of a cozy fire tonight! (Okay, that's a bit flippant, but I was trying to think of a non-confrontational way of saying that I think God should get the credit for what happened today.)
Two stamps done! (Plus two loads of laundry, but I'm not thinking about that.)
