Ok, although I was not "officially" part of the Challenge O' the Sprite, I thought I would pipe in here anyway...

I think one of the BEST ideas I have heard so far was someone simply putting a magnet directly on the stamp, and leaving just THAT. Or velcro, or whatever your prefered adhesion method. Brilliant! There is NO WAY it would look at ALL like something destructive - no container. There is nothing tying it back to a planter or a website or anything. It is about as inocuous a placement as can be imagined, and there is no fumbling around with opening containers, repackaging, logbooks, etc... it truly simplifies the experience, which is a GREAT thing for those plants that require stealth. It makes these pretty much like planted "cooties", without logbooks and simple to plant and retrieve in Big Box stores.

But all that is not the best part.

The BEST part about this, is what we can call them...

At first, I thought they should be called "Big-Box Cooties", but then I realized I could simplify this name even more:

As for changing the name...I don't plan to unless Sprite has a problem with it. the name 'Challenge o' The Sprite' doesn't really (to me, anyway) spark the idea of a competition, and I dont' think that anyone will be trying to hunt up Sprite if they find my box- they'll probably be hunting for the Celtic Quinn that the logbook says that box was 'placed by'.

Nah, take it off...I don't want any ideas that this could have been a contest set up on AQ. Plus, we might try this challenge again sometime when the heat blows over! ;-)

OK, I need some help now. I just returned from my adventure with the law in Gwinnette County. I'm logging my finds from the trip, lettin people know how their boxes are, thanking folks, etc. So I go to my saved searches and look for the Challenge of the Sprite boxes, because I found one of those. Lo and behold, it's down to 30 boxes, instead of the close to 50 it was at before I left. Hey, one of the boxes that is not there is the one I found. So I figured out what was going on, but heres the problem. I threw away the clue sheet, I forget the author, and didn't write anything in our logbook yet. So heres my question:

Could someone tell me how to find the box that WAS Challenge of the Sprite: Discount Fairy

I will change the name of my box, but I will definitely be leaving it where it is at.
