OK, So it's Goundhog's day and we awoke to a freezing cold day. That of course didn't stop us from letterboxing. It is my Birthday and I told my husband and children that all I wanted to do was letterbox. So the clues were printed and off we went. Imagine my surprise when I was handed a clue that my dear husband planted in honor of my birthday.

Not only that, he carved his first stamp, wrote the clues himself and actually planted it without any knowledge on my part (even sneaking my carving tools to work and carving there.) It was so much fun and despite the cold, we had a blast.

Anyway, I am sure others have done this in the past but I was really surprised at this hidden talent of my husbands, his thoughtfulness in actually doing what I wanted and the thrill of our first box being from him. And the stamp isn't bad considering. Enjoy, all of you who venture out to find it.

Now if I can only get Mr. Gryffindor to see this post and have an AH-HA moment!!!! That is so thoughtful and such a nice birthday gift.

Happy Birthday to you!

What a fun birthday! And reading the clues, I believe it's planted about 4 blocks from my parents house (and where I grew up)! So next time I'm visiting, barring freak ice storms or tornadic activity (yes, we were there last summer), that's definitely on the gotta-get list!

B Hunters,

AWWW! Your husband is definitely a keeper! He did a fantastic job...on everything I can see. I was planning a trip to St. Louis this spring...we'll have to hunt for this box!

Happy Birthday!
