I have to agree. No, I don't coach a #1 nationally ranked team, but..............
We were ranked #3 in the state, had a TON of D1 coaches foaming for several of our players (IE: Penn St. Wisc. Most Big Easters). We held one of our top guys out of one of our TV games. we took a ton of BS, but it tells everyone on the team, the community, fans, friends, Family, and anyone else, that we don't joke. A rule is a rule. PERIOD. Scholarship or not. It is NOT our job to get you into school. It is yours. Keep your grades up, play hard, and be a good citizen. The rest takes care of itself. We care for people, not hype. We lost, but made a better team, and better people.

And of course as would happend Huntington won their BIG game with Mayo playing! Maybe the other team should protest the game. Why not have a judge decide that one as well.
