Quote guess what color it was! Yup, that's right - red. So I look like I maimed myself. I sure hope it comes off in the shower tomorrow because washing it with soap and water sure didn't help.

Sooooo, basically, you had your palm red!
Didn't that "One more time" title remind ou of "I'll take you home again...kathleen..."? "One more time...."

Shame, shame!

When Ensign Kevin Reilly takes over Engineering in an episode in the original series (might have been Naked Time but I'm not sure), he sings "I'll Take You Home Again, Kathleen" over and over. At one point he finishes and says, "One more time!" We see Kirk on the bridge put his head in his hands and say, "Please, not again..."

He was singing over the intercom system so the whole ship was being blessed.

Here I am killing another kitten. Why can't I remember to get all this into one post?

Hey! I remembered that, too! Not his name and all the details, but I remembered the singing!

Sorry :) I have seen that episode, but it certainly didn't come to mind, mostly because I had no idea what song he was singing. I am also much more of a fan of the newer shows than the original series, but I do still like it.

Tch, tch... someone needs to check the glossary.

Under K... The listing is "kittens, dead". ;-)

Killing kittens is a metaphor.

Don't blame me for the terminology. Blame whichever bright light came up with the graphic accompanying said glossary entry.

Ohh! I have seen that graphic, with the Japanese cartoon monsters (I think they're called Domo-kun) chasing the kitten, only with something other than frequent posting being referenced below it as the cause of the kitten's premature demise.
Something not family-friendly ;)
So I did a double-take when I saw that, but for a different reason.
I think I need to keep out of the seamier side of the Internet
